All Age Band

The band has several members who have started to play their instruments comparatively recently, sitting alongside very experienced musicians.

This is possible because Kay McHugh arranges the music to include all levels, giving everyone the opportunity to play some lovely music together. The band performs a very wide range of music from classical to pop. Everyone is so enthusiastic and they come along to practices every week and work really hard with me to learn the music.

Rehearsals are alternate Thursdays at St Mary’s Church Hall, Harefield
6.45pm-7.45pm (no charge)

The choir has lots of opportunities to perform at St Mary’s, with our more serious concerts being for Remembrance and Good Friday.

We also take part in important services at Christmas and Anzac Day.

The band joins the choir for the Summer and Christmas concerts which are really good fun and an opportunity to play and sing completely different music from the more serious occasions.
